Teachers

Dance Infinity has a staff of highly trained professionals teaching over 70 dance classes each week. Our professional teachers have a depth of experience in both dance performance as well as dance education. We employ highly qualified instructors with professional certifications to challenge and nurture our dancers as they grow and excel in their dance education and develop into well-rounded individuals. Private lessons can be arranged through the school office. Our studios are equipped with sprung floors, professional grade flooring and full length mirrors.

Shanon Beebe-Farsakh
Founder/DirectorPassion For Dance

Shanon is a graduate from the University of Arizona with a BFA in dance. She attended the University of Arizona on a dance scholarship where she trained in ballet, modern and jazz. Besides having a BFA in dance, she also has a Masters in Elementary Education. Shanon started her professional career in Twilight Dance Company and worked as a professional choreographer setting pieces for TV and theatre such as “Fire in the Sky”.

Once finishing her professional career, Shanon owned a premier dance school, Creative Movement Dance Company, for over 15 years in Des Moines, IA. Many of her graduates went on to have professional careers in dance and theater such as Nebraska Ballet Company, Billy Elliot Broadway Show, and Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader.

Shanon is highly recognized for her choreography winning many US National Awards.

Gaia Lucchini
ContemporaryPassion For Dance

Gaia studied in Milan when she was a child following the Royal Academy Method. Later she trained in jazz, modern, and contemporary dance. She attend the famous Steps on Broadway, in NYC on a scholarship. To further her training she trained with Hughes Salgas in Paris. As a professional dancer, Gaia was a member of Teatro Franco Parenti of Milan Company, Pierre Weiss Company, and Nina Buisson’s Company.

After years of dancing, Gaia started her own company in Milan, Dance Point, where professionals could take classes and rehearse. As a choreographer she worked in theatre creating pieces for TV shows such as ”Notte di Stelle” and several fashion shows.

Misha Goddard
Lead InstructorBallet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theatre and Tap

Misha started dancing at the age of 3 in her hometown in England. At the age of 16 Misha was awarded a place at the Northern Ballet School, where she obtained her Diploma in Dance Instruction as well as being trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Hip Hop. At 18, Misha was given the opportunity to continue her studies in dance and musical theatre at one of London’s leading performing arts schools – the Urdang Academy. Here she graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. After graduating, she has gained experience working as a professional dancer in the UK and in Dubai in a number of different shows and events, alongside her teaching. Misha joined the Dance Infinity team in March 2018.

Marica-Victoria Derdene
Lead Ballroom InstructorBallroom and Latin Dance

Born in Romania, Marica-Victoria graduated from Ecologic University of Bucharest with a Dancesport degree, Trainer degree from CNFPA and Judge Classification book from Romanian Dancesport Federation. She is not only a professional dancer and certified instructor, she is also an official judge and choreographer on “Dancing with the stars” – Romania. She teaches both adults and children and specializes in different dance style such as Romanian Folklore, Salsa, bachata, merengue, ballroom dance. She also does private sessions and helps couples rehearse their wedding dance. additionally , she was a part of a professional team of dancers lead by WDSF judge Cornelia Dobre and collaborated with popular restaurants in Bucharest such as Caru cu Bere and Hanu Berarilor performing shows every night. She’s also been on popular tv channels in Bucharest, video clips and commercials.
Marica represented Romania in international competitions and won the following awards:
2002 – 2nd place in Latin Junior
2003 – Winner of Romanian Cup for Latin Junior 2, Finalist in IDSF Oradea open, Albena open and Bourgas open
2004 – 2nd place National championship Latin junior 2, 22nd place in World Championship Latin junior 2 in Riga-Latvia
2005 – Finalist in National competition – youth category
2006 – Champion in youth Latin and 10 dance category
2013 – Won the national dance show championship (standard and Latin)

Khachatur Nikoghosyan (Nick)
Lead Gymnastics and Breakdance InstructorGymnastics, Breakdancing, and Hip Hop

Nick for short, is the Dance/Gymnastics Instructor at Dance Infinity Performing Arts from Armenia. He holds a Master Sports Degree from FIG and has been in the Gymnastics field from a very young age. With much dedication, passion and discipline he achieved being the finalist of Junior European and World Championships.
Apart from Gymnastics, his innate skills in dance at the beginning of his teenage years. Allowed him the opportunity to shape his skills further and gain experience through various dance competitions and projects – So You Think You Can Dance, Sea2Sea to name a few, where he made it to the finals.

Diana Pivoraite
Hip HopPassion For Dance

Diana is a graduate Lithuania College of Arts Faculty and received her Dance Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Teacher Training Studies, Qualification of Teacher. She attended the College on a dance scholarship where she trained in Hip Hop, Modern, Ballroom, Ballet, Folk. Later on, she attended Fitness School and received a B License Certificate of Aerobic.
Before her advanced studies at the age of 13 years old, Diana was practicing Hip Hop and Street Dance with prominent Lithuanian and international choreographers. After collecting the necessary knowledge at the age of 17 years, she became a professional dancer and performer. Later she began her career as a dance teacher and choreographer.

At the same time, Diana was in the R’n’B style group of girls for more than 10 years, where she was singing, performing, recording song tracks, preparing choreographies and participating in various concerts, festivals, television shows. Also, Diana performed at festivals as an events presenter with various theatrical characters. Diana had a performing career in the filming of music videos with famous Lithuanian singers. Also, she participated with them in the television projects like Lithuanian Voice and Lithuania Eurovision contest.

She has had a big prescience in Hip Hop and Street Dance International competitions and championships in Europe.

Gemma Shaw
Ballet, Hip Hop, and Preschool Dance ProgramPassion For Dance

Gemma Christina was born and raised in the UK. Her mother, as well as many of her other relatives were also dancers; so dancing is something that simply runs through her. Dance was her first love. From a young age, she was a captivating performer who won the hearts of audiences around the world. After studying BTDA Ballet, Tap, Modern and Lyrical at the Joan Wood Stage School, UK. She gained A Levels in Dance, Media Studies and Performing Arts and worked tirelessly on her skills and unique style. At just age 17 she started her professional career as a Dancer and Choreographer. Since then, she has worked with some of the top dancers in the industry and has also created her own productions that have been performed on cruise ships and various events around the world.

Jennie Aten
Tap InstructorPassion For Dance

Jennie Aten has studied tap for 11 years, as well as jazz for five, ballet for seven, and hip hop for three. The majority of Jennie’s tap training is under the direction of Mark Yonally. Mark is the artistic director of Chicago Tap Theatre, which is one of the most critically well-regarded tap companies in Chicago.

For five years, Jennie was a member of Footprints Tap Ensemble in the suburbs of Chicago. Footprints is a nonprofit youth ensemble that is self-directed and mentored by Mark Yonally.

She has taken classes from many master tap artists including, Diane Walker, Jason Samuels Smith, Sarah Petronio, Lane Alexander, Idella Reed, Billy Siegenfeld, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Omar Edwards, Ayodele Casel, Sam Weber, Sarah Savelli, Martin “Tre” Dumas, George Patterson, Gregg Russell, Keith Terry, Herather Cornell, Jay Fagan, Gene Medler, John Kloss, Roxane Butterfly, Michelle Dorrance, Josh Hilberman, Rocky Mendez, Dr. Jimmy Slyde, Baakari Wilder, Jumaane Taylor, Jason Janas, Lisa La Touche, Ted Levy, and Guillem Alonso.

Jennie has performed at Chicago Human Rhythm Project concerts, Warner Brothers’ “Happy Feet” movie promotional, Shedd Aquarium’s Annual Benefit, Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, and numerous other professional venues.

In 2008, Jennie danced with select Footprints in a series of concerts comprising the production Christmas Dancing Shoes at the Beijing Exhibition Center in Beijing, China.
