Teachers

Dance Infinity has a staff of highly trained professionals teaching over 70 dance classes each week. Our professional teachers have a depth of experience in both dance performance as well as dance education. We employ highly qualified instructors with professional certifications to challenge and nurture our dancers as they grow and excel in their dance education and develop into well-rounded individuals. Private lessons can be arranged through the school office. Our studios are equipped with sprung floors, professional grade flooring and full length mirrors.

Shanon Beebe-Farsakh
Founder & Master Instructor Passion For Dance

Shanon founded Dance Infinity Performing Arts in 2017 to educate and enrich students in the fine art of dance. She is a graduate from one of the top 10 dance programs in the United States at the University of Arizona and received a BFA in dance. She attended the distinguished University of Arizona on a dance scholarship where she trained in ballet, modern and jazz. Besides having a BFA in dance, she also has a Masters in Elementary Education. Shanon started her professional career dancing with a contemporary company, Twilight Dance. She also worked as a professional choreographer in the US setting pieces for TV and theatre such as “Fire in the Sky”.

Once finishing her professional career, Shanon owned a premier dance school, Creative Movement Dance Company, for over 15 years in Des Moines, IA. Many of her graduates have received dance scholarships to college and Joffery Ballet School. Additionally, Shanon’s former students went on to have professional careers in dance and theater such as Mid-American Ballet Company, and various broadway shows. 

Shanon is highly recognized for her choreography winning many US National Awards.

Misha Goddard
Lead Instructor Passion For Dance

Misha started dancing at the age of 3 in her hometown in England. At the age of 16 Misha was awarded a place at the Northern Ballet School, where she obtained her Diploma in Dance Instruction as well as being trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Hip Hop. At 18, Misha was given the opportunity to continue her studies in dance and musical theatre at one of London’s leading performing arts schools – the Urdang Academy. Here she graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. After graduating, she has gained experience working as a professional dancer in the UK and in Dubai in a number of different shows and events, alongside her teaching. Misha joined the Dance Infinity team in March 2018.

Marica Derdene
Lead Ballroom Instructor Passion For Dance

Born in Romania, Marica-Victoria graduated from Ecologic University of Bucharest with a Dancesport degree, Trainer degree from CNFPA and Judge Classification book from Romanian Dancesport Federation. She is not only a professional dancer and certified instructor, she is also an official judge and choreographer on “Dancing with the stars” – Romania. She teaches both adults and children and specializes in different dance style such as Romanian Folklore, Salsa, bachata, merengue, ballroom dance. She also does private sessions and helps couples rehearse their wedding dance. additionally , she was a part of a professional team of dancers lead by WDSF judge Cornelia Dobre and collaborated with popular restaurants in Bucharest such as Caru cu Bere and Hanu Berarilor performing shows every night. She’s also been on popular tv channels in Bucharest, videoclips and commercials. 

Marica represented Romania in international competitions and won the following awards:

  • 2002 – 2nd place in Latin Junior
  • 2003 – Winner of Romanian Cup for Latin Junior 2, Finalist in IDSF Oradea open, Albena open and Bourgas open
  • 2004 – 2nd place National championship latin junior 2, 22nd place in World Championship Latin junior 2 in Riga-Latvia. 
  • 2005 – Finalist in National competition – youth category 
  • 2006 – Champion in youth latin and 10 dance category 
  • 2013 – Won the national dance show championship (standard and latin)

Diana Pivoraite
Hip Hop Instructor Passion For Dance

Diana is a graduate Lithuania College of Arts Faculty and received her Dance Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Teacher Training Studies, Qualification of Teacher. She attended the College on a dance scholarship where she trained in Hip Hop, Modern, Ballroom, Ballet, Folk. Later on, she attended Fitness School and received a B License Certificate of Aerobic

Before her advanced studies at the age of 13 years old, Diana was practicing Hip Hop and Street Dance with prominent Lithuanian and international choreographers. At the age of 17, she became a professional dancer and performer. Later she began her career as a dance teacher and choreographer.

At the same time, Diana was in the R’n’B style group of girls for more than 10 years, where she was singing, performing, recording song tracks, preparing choreographies and participating in various concerts, festivals, television shows. Diana had a performing career in the filming of music videos with famous Lithuanian singers. Also, she participated with them in the television projects like Lithuanian Voice and Lithuania Eurovision contest.

 She has had a big prescience in Hip Hop and Street Dance International competitions and championships in Europe.

Jeanie McCaghren-Powell
Master Ballet Instructor Passion For Dance

Jeanie is a Graduate of Alabama School of Fine Arts, a prestigious performing arts school in the United States of America. She was a professional dancer with numerous professional ballet companies throughout the USA performing in a broad range of works in classical, neo-classical and contemporary styles in principal, soloist, corps de ballet and ensemble roles in works by renowned choreographers amongst others, George Balanchine, Anton Dolin, Agnes DeMille, Val Canaporoli, Dennis Spaight. Her ballet teaching style is a blend of American technique (Joffrey, Balanchine), Russian technique (Vaganova) and British.

Jeanie has also trained and performed in contemporary dance and lyrical jazz, salsa, Indian Dance (Bharata natyam), South Indian martial art (Kalarippayatt), Malaysian folk dance, Street Dance/Hip-Hop as well as postural methods such as Pilates, Feldenkrais and Alexander techniques.

Jeanie has worked internationally teaching, choreographing, directing, performing and facilitating dance, theatre and musical theatre for all ages and abilities. She has choreographed and directed for ballet companies, theatre productions, musicals, opera, and video as well as site specific projects and major live events.  She has also many years in teaching fitness classes as well as having developed many fitness formats of her own.

Jeanie is delighted to join the Dance Infinity team and will be also teaching Progressing Ballet TechniqueÒ / PBT masterclasses to eligible students.
